Wel, the most obvious of these to answer is no, the BN cannot read anything
on a cd, because it does not have, nor is it compatible, with a cd drive. It
also cannot handle daisy formats.

As for electronic braille, it can handle that fine, along with rtf, txt,
most doc and pwd files. It can handle html files, either by opening them in
the web browser which is rather slow and cumbersome or by converting it to
some other form such as plain text or brf files. It cannot read a four track
tape, it is not a tape player, nor is there any way to convert a 4-track
rfbd tape (legally at least), to mp3 that i know of. Currently the BN can
only handle mp3 and wav files, but the 6.1 upgrade promises the ability to
play other media types such as windows media files and aif files. HTH, Laura
