I cannot speak to the winsock error message; however, I can say that when the BN is downloading messages from the ISP server, if for any reason, the download gets interrupted before downloading all messages stored on the server, all the messages will be downloaded again whether they are already on the BN or not. I'm told this has to do with the ISP, not the BN. I don't understand the technicalities of all this, but this is what I've been told by people with more technical knowledge than mine. And, when my BN message downloads have been interrupted, this is exactly what happens; got almost 600 messages downloaded twice while on vacation, Ugg!

When Sabahattin explained this to me I was a bit confused because, as he later found out, the BN generally checks the headers of email messages against those already stored in the inbox and, if they match, does not recognize the duplicate messages. However, just the other day, I connected my BN to the server, and began downloading 55 messages. At mere message 22, I received this very winsock error (which I had never received before, though I have downloaded up to 160 messages using keymail), was forced to disconnect and, sure enough, upon reconnecting, my BN began downloading a second copy of the 22 messages already downloaded. I began using the BN using version 4.01. So, my question is, is this a keysoft 5.0 problem? Will it continue to occur? I would appreciate any comments.
