Yes, I get several of them daily. I do a shift delete to make sure they aren't in my deleted items. I had someone check on them. They truly are spam and since I am on several lists, we figure they were coming from one of them. Since you are getting them as well, they are probably on this list. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brenda Mueller" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 2004 10:39 PM Subject: re: [Braillenote] suspicious emails

One of them is coming from Microsoft supposbly. The subject line says something about a patch for security that needs to be installed immediately. I have been deleting them but they show up daily. Also I am getting other suspicious emails when I try to reply to the sender the message bounces back saying that the ISP doesn't exist. , have been deleting these suspicious messages too. I'm not trying to accuse anyone here of sending me these weird emails. I am just hoping that the BN doesn't get a virus from all of this weirdness. I don't ever open attachments just to be on the safe side. > >Has anyone else experienced this especially the one from Microsoft? Thanks for your time and your help. Basically I want to make sure I am not supposed to be doing anything with the Microsoft patch like installing it. I figured if I was supposed to PDI would have sent something which to the list which goes to show how nice PDI is. > >Thanks. > >Lisa > > > >___ > >To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > >[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > >http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > >
