Dianne, I'm not sure that I understand your problem. To stop your voicenote from speaking continuously, press backspace together with enter. Then use space with dot one to go back a line, space with dots 13 to read the current line and space with dot 4 to proceed. If you want to enter on a particular link, press enter on that line where it bleebs and if you want to read continuously again press space with g.
You can move between links with space and backspace, but you might then miss some of the contents of a particular one. If you have a quirtey keyboard, press contextual help to get the list of commands, both for editing and browsing, as I've mentioned bt commands here.
