Hi William! A big welcome from Mary Ellen Earls in Arizona.
I am delighted to tell you that you can most definitely plan routes in the gps version 2. You can do this 3 different ways. you can keep the old way of dropping waypoints or you can have the system automatically create either a pedestrian or vehicular route for you. Let me warn you in the pedestrian route function, if you are planning to walk on a highway the gps will not plan a route for you but you can get pretty much the results you want with vehicular route planning. As for downloading the 6.1, Am afraid you have to purchase it on a flash card. The only thing that is downloadable on that upgrade is the product key which isn't up on the web page yet. As for the foreign language pack, some of the language majors on this list'll have to help you with that because this ol goat only has one language in her Bn.
Anyway again, welcome to the list.

Mary Ellen Earls

Subject: [Braillenote] new user and a few question

hi all

I am extremely delighted to not only introduce myself but be the proud owner of the braillenote 32 with braille input keyboard i have moved over from the pac mate as i can have a language pack i believe with the braille note that will enable me to write in foreign languages, as a student at university this is essential. My first question is, can i get this language pack and install it myself?
My name is william Lomas by the way and I live in the united kingdom.
Finally for now, does anyone know where i can read up on the new keysoft version six features, and could i download it beeing as my braillenote has keysoft version five? the gps as well, can i plan a route in version 2.0. for example, tell it, i want to go from a, to b and it plans out the route for me, or do i have to keep dropping points. Looking forward to your response, sure i will be along with many question again soon, lol
thanks, regards, will lomas.
