CF cards as coasters? Hey, I like my Sandisk 1gb Compact flash card, unless
you have any better suggestions. Perhaps you meant that once they're
formatted by the BrailleNote, they can only be used as coasters. Thanks for
the tip about not formatting a CF card on the BrailleNote. I don't have one
yet, but it should be on the way, and now I know what not to do.

flash card on your Braille Lite, but not the bn. Are you actually talking
about the disk? To my knowledge, the Braille Lite won't read a flash card,
unless you actually mean the Braille Millennium.
From what I understand about the storage card, if you format them on the
bn, your Braille Lite can't read them. The disk drives are different.
However, even though it doesn't work for me, I understand you can reverse
that process, and read from the bn what you have downloaded from the
Braille
Lite.
When you say there is no room on the flash card, do you mean the disk or
the
compact flash card? If you mean the disk, yes you can format it in the bn
disk drive.
If I'm not clear, someone will tell me. I hope I've helped you.
As far as the braille display, my dot 2 is gone. I do exercise my braille
display, clean it with a warm damp cloth. I've also sprayed it with the
canned air. Hope it works out.
