Jim,
I'm just curious, do you know who makes this phone? Is it Motorola, or is
it another brand? I just switched phones so I could use mine with my BN
and my plan won't allow me to switch again for another ten months. Oh well.
Happy Wednesday!
Sarah

Hello!
I'm about to try an LG VX4500 phone! I believe it has serial cable
capabilities but I haven't confirmed this as of yet! This phone has
audible caller ID, quick key commands to arrive at specific menu items as
ringer settings. One can program the call list which holds up to 499
numbers. Some numbers on that list may have distinctive rings programmed
to them. A call from a spouse may ring differently from how the phone
normally rings! It isn't perfect but I actually heard caller ID
information on that phone. It will even audibly say the time of day if
prompted to do so. This phone also uses voice recognission for a number of
functions. I believe though blind persons can program this phone without
needing to rely on others to help! I should know more shortly! Verizon
and Singular Wireless are using this paticular phone. Perhaps others on
this list have more information. I'll report back or you can Email me
privately!
