The schools don't always provide flash cards for the students to use. You don't expect students to lay out the money to purchase one of those do you? If you don't store it on the system flash disk, where else are you going to store it unless you have a flashcard? It's the same with the braille lite, if I didn't put the file on a floppy and load it, I could lose it. Now I may not be talking the same language as you are cause I found that file system very complicated and I didn't have the patience to sort it all out! <grin>

What a lucky eight-or-nine-year-old! How I wish I had a notetaker then,

am lucky. Incidentally, the student's workbook should be fine, even through
a hard reset, unless it is stored on the Keysoft System disk. I would
recommend a person never store documents or files on the Keysoft System disk
for this reason.

Hi all,

Oh, Sue, that's exciting! Do you know how special that is, to be able
to underline stuff in a workbook just like everyone else? That is
fantastic! Ain't technology wonderful?

I am teaching a third grader to go from her text to the word processor
to answer her questions. The other day we put the English workbook on
the Braillenote, and I had her underline the complete subject in the
sentence. It worked great, and her teacher could read the print with
correct underlining.
