No, a reset is not going to work, none of them if the email file is corrupted.
If a person can't get into his email, he has to do this.
First of all he's going to file menu and select erase. Then he goes to
keylist. It's a folder on the flash disk. He'll use the x chord, that's space
pressed with x until it says it will give you the hidden files. Hit an x
chord, space to see, but when it says including hiddon files, you'll find a
file called email folders.cdb. You delete it. You will lose whatever emails
are in there and for a few seconds, your email folders. After you've deleted,
go to the main menu and then back into emails. You won't have any folders, but
the system should tell you that. You just answer y for yes to have them
recreated. They'll be empty of course. Still you'll be able to go online and
get new email. When I did it my address book, and online set-ups weren't
harmed.

There was a strange thing that happened. The system told me I had 4 email to
send, even though I didn't. I call these ghost emails. Just send 4 real
emails, and the gosts should be gone.
Oh, before I went online after this severe process, I freed up data space and
did a simple reset, the one where you just press the button with no keys down
and the unit switched on. I think this is what PC users call a warm reset.
Well, there's my experience. If this process frightens you, call a techie, and
let him walk you through it.
