Hi Lisa, You should just be able to create a standard KeyWord Braille document, and you could then translate this document to KeyWord Text through the "Translate between Braille and text" option of the Translation submenu of the File Manager. If you wanted an ASCII text, MS Word, or RTF file copy, for example, of a KeyWord Braille document, you would use the "Export File" option of the Translation submenu of the File Manager to make a copy of one of these types. You'll have the original copy and the translated copy in your unit. From within the document, you could press [SPACE with S], [CONTROL with S], and save the file as another type by pressing [BACKSPACE with X], [CONTROL with X] at the "Document Name?" prompt and typing in a name; because they are different file types, even if they have the same name and are in the same drive/folder, you will still have two copies, one of each type. When saving the document, if you simply wanted to change the file type, but keep the existing file name, you could move to the end of the file name with [SPACE with dots 4-6], [FUNCTION with RIGHT ARROW], delete an existing extension if necessary with BACKSPACE, and type in a new extension, such as .txt, .doc, or .rtf, then press ENTER.
