Subject: [Braillenote] wireless card questions

> Hi Listers,
> I suppose this is more a question for PDI. I called my local computer
store today and read them the info from the Web site for the wireless cards.
They wanted to know if the carss were made for 800211 G or 200811 G
something like that anyway. Something about those numbers deal with how
much infformation is arransmitted per second. Do I need some type of
adapter either from PDI or the computer store to use the wireless card? They
were going to check on the pricing because they currently don't have either
brand in stock. They said I'd be able to plug it into my wireless router so
hopefully I can finally use the wireless part of my Internet service. Right
now how I access the Internet is through my Etheernet card which is inserted
into the slot on the back of the BN. Is this where the wireless card will
go? If so I guess I don't need the Etheernet card then?
> If I am able to use wireless service or using the Etheernet card how would
I be able to download books onto a compact flash card if that slot is
already being used? I know there's that slot on the right side rthe BN but
I'm not sure what it's supposed to do. I've used it before for the disk
drive. Maybe it's supposed to be used with that adapter thing that came
with the BN?
> Is there a liing on PDI's Web site that tells what Compact Flash cards can
work with the BN? Or a list of those PACCAMIC cards or what^e the word is
that work with the BN?
> I just want to make sure I have all of the correct information before
purchasing anything.
> Thanks for your time and your help.
