Hi Dean, Many thanks for your once again rapid and clear response. Unfortunately, I only have one smtp server at my disposal at present, so I'll just continue to use my desktop machine for the time being for sending. This is because I'm using both my PK and desktop machine on a home LAN which is permanently connected to my broadband service. All other aspects of networking are working absolutely brilliantly with PK.
Actually, you do raise a question in my mind as a very new customer of PD. Assuming that you do manage to fix this issue, which I have no doubt at all that you will, how will we know that updates or fixes are available? If we have only had our machines for about three weeks, will we be entitled to any fixes as soon as they are available, or will there be some kind of SMA system introduced for the PK at some point? When I asked our PD office here in the UK, it seemed that no SMA structure had yet been put in place for PK. So I was uncertain as to what level our one year waranty covers. Cheers. The end result of this is, depending on which SMTP server you are using, will depend on whether you can send email or not. We are aware this is a serious issue and we will be addressing this issue as soon as we possibly can. Meanwhile, if you have access to other SMTP servers, you could try them and this is possibly a work around for the moment.
