Hi: This discussion leads me to make one comment. If you all want to know if anyone has problems flying with the Braillenote, ask Jonathan! I don't think any of us have flown anymore often or as far as he routinely does. Seriously, I have flown with a Braillenote since 2000, and never, not once, had a problem. In fact, the last few times I've flown, I have placed it in a back pack, which was, of course, scanned. Nothing went wrong. I was much more annoyed about being made to remove my shoes, unbuckle my belt, and stand there like a post for ten minutes. And, although I didn't like what was done, I am quite aware of the need for security. My Braillenote was never an issue.
