Hi, everyone. Before we even worry about instant messaging, we need good e-mail support with synchronization and also the ability to filter messages into separate mailboxes.
Not everyone instant messages, but everyone e-mails.
My fear is that we will indeed see this stuff, but it will be next summer before we do. So, synchronization of e-mail will probably be a year away. Because the sdk will most likely come first after the 6.1 release which will possibly be in november or december. I really wish that e-mail synchronization with outlook could have been put into 6.1. With networking support, I was hoping for synchronizing with outlook so I could choose how to read my e-mail at a particular time of the day, either on my bn or with outlook on my pc. I was also hoping for streaming audio so I could listen to ACB radio. Just using networking so I can go get a file doesn't do it for me. I can use a card reader for that. At least we will have wireless web browsing, but I don't do that as much as reading e-mail. Then I will have to buy another SMA just to get the things I had hoped that 6.1 would have given us, good e-mail support with outlook and streaming audio.

When writing in instant messaging will we be able to write our messages in contracted Braille or will we have to write them in computer Braille? Will there be a character limit? If there is a character limit I'd rather be permitted to write instant messages in contracted Braille. I have to type slower in computer Braille and think about what I'm doing.
