Actually, I have *never*, since I installed JaAWS 6.0 and higher, had to
turn off my computer or restart or anything.  In fact, I didn't even have to
have the BrailleNote hooked up to the computer when I started it up.  All I
had to do was put the BrailleNote in terminal mode wheneve4r I want to use
it as a display.  And then I just take it out of terminal mode when I'm
done.  Just be sure to have Braille auto-detection" set to on.

And, sometimes windows doesn't like to let go of it so you have to reboot.
