I am really sorry for cluttering up everyone's inboxes with more of this schlock, but the word is not "seizure", it really has nothing to do with seizures, despite what FS says. It originally showed up in a fantasy novel and is a made-up word. (FYI, it's a word for an extremely bad and destructive thing in the novel, which turned out to be very appropriate for users of Eloquence). Fortunately for us BN/VN users, it has no effect on Keynote speech. It does, however, effect every form of Eloquence I have experimented with. This includes Jaws, Window-Eyes, OpenBook, Kurzweill, The Pacmate, the Braille Sense, and phones with Mobile Speak and Talx. This might not cover all the bases. If your chosen flavor of Eloquence doesn't crash, dollars to doughnuts the word is spelled wrong. Here is the spelling, one letter at a time:
C A E S U R E Again, I apologize for posting this and bothering everyone with yet another explanation of the deadly word. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Powers, Terry (NIH/OD/DEAS) Sent: Monday, June 06, 2005 2:05 PM To: 'Braillenote List' Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Future of BrailleNote hardware I am pretty sure I still am on 5.0 and my computer with Jaws locked on me. what was the e-mail about. I could not even find the word. It stopped right before displaying the word. I sure do not know what he was trying to write. the proper spelling for that word is seizure. >From the sound of the sample, I guess that is what he was writing.
