Sherry, if you already have keysoft 5.1 build 19, I don't think you need
to bother to install build 22 at this stage, as it's main function is
said to have to do with the unit being used as a Braille display
together with window eyes. My experience is that, although apart from
the new planner, keysoft 5.1 didn't have much more features than 5, but
it definitely is more stable regarding email and keyweb than keysoft 5.
I'm going to wait for 6.1.

Sherry, when I installed build 22 last week I had to try three times
before it finally worked, and I did nothing different the third time. It
sounds like you've already tried numerous times. Give tech support a
call, as I think something is rotten somewhere.

Subject: [Braillenote] upgrading to version 5.1

hi guys,

I have been trying to upgrade my BN to version 5.1 build 22. I
downloaded the upgrade to my storage card and read the directions in the
manual for upgrading. However, it seems to stick at the part where I'm
supposed to reset with dots 1 2 and 3. Every time I run the upgrade, it
goes back to that. I hold down the keys, seemingly forever, fingers
shaking, growing numb ... Ok, I'm being silly and exaggerating a bit.
But it does always go back to that place. It doesn't seem to be
installing the program. I have gone to the utilities menu, to
application program, chosen storage card, directory slash, pressed enter
on the keysoft program, pressed enter at command line and then enter
again when prompted. Yet, still it goes to that reset with dots 1 2 and
3. I do this and it says to run the installation again. I go through
all the steps again, and it goes back to reset with dots 1 2 and 3. Ok,
I'm sure its driver error, so please, what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Sherry
