One thing I must say. I am here at the NFB conventionin Atlanta, and I
have seen the prototype of the Braillenote PK. It is remarkably compact
and well-designed, but it ain't gonna fit in any pocket I currently own!

Hi Jonathan,

Doesn't the Pac Mate support the G standard? Congrats on these major
developments and enhancements. Best Regards,

Les

Hi Mary, the issue here is with Windows CE 4.2. There is nothing
intrinsically preventing us from supporting 802.11G if Microsoft
releases
a patch.

Now that is really too bad that G is not supported, because its a lot
more
secure. I can't understand why you'd put out a product in the 4th
quarter
of this year that doesn't support a standard that was released a year or

so before this product is due to come out. Wireless B is too insecure as

far as I'm concerned. I wish you could reconsider and make this device G

compatible. I know there are cut offs in development cycles. But to
release a product that does not support a more secure wireless standard,

when that standard has been out for a long time, in terms of the speed
of
technological development, is something I don't understand. mary
