Hi Dean,

You're most welcome.  I tried cancelling an alarm this morning, and it
did work properly, so I'm guessing this is a timing issue.  Try this.
Set an alarm and monitor the braille display about a minute before the
alarm is cheduled to go off.  You'll hear and notice that the display
changes prior to the sounding of the alarm.  When I received the cannot
run this version of KeySoft, I tried to cancel the alarm prior to the
sound actually sounding so as to not wake up my spouse.  This morning, I
was away on business and was alone.  This time, I let the alarm sound
for a few seconds, and then hit letter C and the alarm cancelled as it
should.  This is why I believe it may be a timing issue.
