Hi. I never saw this behavior with the display myself.
I have seen other problems such as:
1. When going into a web page, braille does not always come up as grade II.
2. Sometimes, when loading a book, grade I braille comes up instead of
grade II. Loading the file again usually fixes this.
3. One cannot download more than about 400 email messages. Trying to
download more than this causes the bn to download very very slowly when
downloading mail. This happens even if email is downloaded in smaller segments.
5. Although moving to the trash when reading email is faster, it can still
take ten seconds sometimes. However, on coming back in to read email, it
might just move immediately. No rhyme or reason for this.
6. When downloading a large file like an mp3, the bn will lock up more than
not requiring a reset.
7. When transferring a file from a shared drive on your computer to the bn
wirelessly, a lockup can occur causing one to need to reset.
8. When deleting a large number of email from the trash folder, the main
menu doesn't always come back up immediately. One must press escape a
number of times to get the main menu back.

Actually I had the same problem when 6.11 was first installed. My display
read only part of the things like dots 4-5 and w for word processor. One
simplr reset and I have had no problems. Scratch that. Too. It got stuck
on the first reset.
