Seville, Anita's Earthlink settings are a little different, but since she doesn't understand your question, I'll tell you the settings. Yes, we could use your help, and would be glad for it. Service Provider: Earthlink. Modem, internal modem. Phone number: 3380020. service user name: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Password, don't know that one. Email user name: Same as above. We've tried it both ways, not putting the ending on. Pop server: pop.ix.netcom.com. SMTP server: smtpauth.earthlink.net. They do not require authenticication, though we tried it both ways. Log on to network: no. Use software compression: yes. Use IP header compression: yes. Wait for dialtone: yes. No DNS is required, nor the proxy server. Thanks for your help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Seville Allen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, November 06, 2004 7:18 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Dial-up Connection. > Anita, what are your current earthlink settings?
