Yes. and they aren't an annoyance when being read in braille. but they are an annoyance when reading with the speech turned on. Especially if you are reading a nonfiction book that might have a lot of numbers in it as I was this weekend. I got lost several times in whether or not this was a print page, a braille page or a number of something in the book. and when I read hard copy braille, I don't look at the page number when I read. it's just a personal thing, I guess. It has always bothered me to have to hear page numbers read, when I'm trying to read for pleasure and lose myself in a story. It breaks up my concentration.
