Rich, a much shorter list would be what the new BNPK and BN with KS6.1 would not share. As far as I know, the new PK will have a faster processor, Blue Tooth, and a USB port. No the regular BN will not have a USB port.
You'll get Wireless access with the KeySoft upgrade though.

Hi Jonathan,
Exactly what functionality will the pk and the new software update for the regular braillenotes share? If I wanted to update, could a motherboard with a usb port be installed as well or what exactly would happen? I need a new motherboard for my old unit anyway, but if I can get a new pk when it comes out, I will use that and give my old bn to the il center, so they can update it and use it for training or whatever. Another question I have is, does the pk also have an external speaker or is there only a jack? I would love to take a look at one, since I can't figure out how you would get all the stuff you announced into something so small!
I'm trying to form a picture of the unit in my head.
Thanks Jonathan and continue to enjoy the conventions!!

Richard
