No. Think of a compact flash card in the same way you would think about your hard drive. You can store any kind of data your heart desires.

Terry Powers -----Original Message----- From: rhonda clark [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 6:32 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: re: [Braillenote] Free space and other questions First of all, you're not doing anything wrong regarding Mp 3's. The bn really doesn't utilize much of that, though you can download some. However, if you put Mp 3's on a card from the pc, you can play them on the bn. When the upgrades come out, I have heard the Mp 3's will work better. As far as space in the Keysoft System disk, you don't want to save anything on that drive. If you should do a reset, or if your battery went flat, you would lose everything from that drive. Without a storage card, you only have the Flash Disk. If you go to the main uenu, press W, then O. Even though flash disk is what you want, don't press F. After pessing O, you hear "drive", press the space bar until it says "flash disk". Press I with space bar, and you'll get the amount of space that it started with, as well as what's left. I'll have to look at your other questions. I know there will be a lot of helpful people on the list.
