Rhonda, I would be happy to make the correct recommendation for you, all
you need to do is move to Iowa! (smile)
Seriously, focus on your goals and how the technology you want will help
you meet those goals. That is perhaps the most important thing to
consider. As I've said earlier on this list, what people don't realize
is that rehab agencies are audited by the Federal government, their
state governments, and are required to not only account for what they
spend, but to justify it.

Oh, Richard! If I get down on one knee begging for a BN--will that work?
Grin! Seriously, you're right. I don't want to keep carrying this
off-topic, but it's very necessary to explain exactly what you want and
why. If a counselor keeps saying no, a person may ask for the reasons.

>Hi, folks: Anita, I have been reading this thread with a great deal of
>interest, and I finally decided to weigh in on the subject.
>First, I am assuming that, when you asked your rehab counselor for a
BN,
>it was part of an ongoing discussion with him/her about a plan for
>employment, or education, or, perhaps, just living more independently.
>What I'm getting at is that you can't just drop the bomb on the person,
>that you want a BN. Of course, I'm sure you didn't ad that.
>The reasons you gave were good. You might also add that, with the new

>Now, you mentioned that he said he wouldn't approve the purchase of a
>BN, because you have a BNS 640. Well, that's a cute little notetaker,
>but it really is pretty out-of-date. I hope you get what you want,
but,
>as you ask for it, be sure to really have your thoughts together, so
>they can't argue with you. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
