Isaac;
I agree with you. It is better to wait a while, when a new product comes
out, and see how well it is liked. Also you can watch for bugs in the new
product.
When I started with this computer, years ago, I was given a Braille Mate. I
tried to learn it and errors were found in the manual. I think they were
just trying to get rid of them. Nobody I new had one.
I love my Braille Note. It is logical to understand.

Sarah,,,,
I agree with you 100%.
I learned a long time ago when I had a bulletin board that it doesn't pay
to rush things. there was an upgrade for pkzip. Version 2.00. Everyone
rushed out to grab it. I waited. It started crashing all over the place.
People were losing files and data. i was sitting calmly waiting. then
about a month later they came out with version 2.10 and things got back to
normal. I continued to wait until a month later. when I didn't hear any
more stories about crashes etc etc, then and only then did I upgrade. I
don't consider upgrades to be emergencies either. they change a lot and I
may not like what they change.

this list who doesn't consider upgrading my BN an emergency. It has been
pointed out to me that, since the upgrades are already being shipped, that
we should all have them last month. I agree, Humanware seems to have come
up with a very odd shipping method. However, since I don't work there and
don't know all the details, I can only assume that Humanware is doing the
best they can! Believe me folks, they don't want to hear all of us going on
and on about how we want that upgrade yesterday, I don't envy any of the
Humanware staff who are on this list. They certainly have a thankless job.
Yes, it would be nice if we could download the upgrade, but we can't!
That's just the way it is. I've never heard of Microsoft allowing anyone,
using any type of Windows, to download a whole new operating system. Why
should they make an exception for us?

me. I hope you get your upgrade soon, I hope everyone on the list does. I
truly wish Jonathan would have been more forthcoming with the reasons for
this particular shipping method. It would have helped settle everyone down
if we could know why we have to wait.
