Hay, thanks for encouraging me to try other things!! And, although I couldn't get what you suggested to work for me, I was finally able to get it to work. Actually, in the end, I had to hold down the power button for maybe a second and a half, and then press the dot two or three or whatever, while still holding down that power button.
Now, grin, any idea about what I am doing wrong with the planner--meaning, why I can get the alarm to sound, but am not able to review/revise my appointments? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ng Choon Hwee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 12, 2004 6:34 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] A couple of problems with the PK/bugs or my error? Hi, The manual is not quite clear with regards to alternate start up. Try this. Press and release the power button and immediately hold down dots 2 or 3 or 2-3 for the desired mode. It should work.
