Hi. I hope this isn't true. The low setting sounds terrible. I always use
the high quality setting.

To get the BN to read mp3 books made by kurzweil, you have to set the

The Bookport is a small pocket sized device that can read text files
using synthesized speech as well as mp3 files and files purchased from
audible.com.
It comes with software that makes it very easy to transfer files from
the PC to the unit. For more information go to www.aph.org.

What is a book port? Is it one of the 2 reading machines described a
short
while ago?

Well, while doing some dabbling around I have discovered, that if I use
the
lowest MP3 compression rate I can get the Braillenote to play files made
with the ATT Naturals. I haven't tried other synths but for ATT
Naturals
you need to use the lowest setting.
Now, to keep saving up for a Book Courier.
