How short does it have to be.
Two lines or longer?
When I write I just write.

Peggy, you are right about long messages. You can't paste in a long
document, because it will just sit there. If it's going to be long, send it
as an attachment--grin. If the email is short, you can send lots of them
with no problem.

Subject: [Braillenote] A week with just the BN for access

Hi, all. I just got back from a week's vacation where I only had the BN
for access to the net, so thought I'd share my thoughts. In general, I'm
very pleased with 6.1. The web especially is wonderful, and like someone
else said, there are sites I can now access that I couldn't access
before. Email seems to move a lot quicker, but there are some disturbing
gliches, the one that drove me crazy the most was my sending problem. I
originally started locking up when sending, but after deleting and
re-creating my email accounts, I thought my sending problem had been
fixed,
until I wanted to send a relatively long message. It really does seem to
have something to do with the length of a message, and I have no idea why
that should be a problem, but it seemed to be. So I just learned to write shorter messages while away. <grin> I also found that my BN doesn't work
as well with my cell phone for downloading mail. I don't know if this is
due to the merger between ATT (my provider) with Cingular, or the upgrade,
or just poor signals, or what. I could start to download mail and
sometimes succeed in getting it all downloaded; but usually it would hang
at some point and not let me finish a download. So I would just use the
cell for websites or to send a quick message.

So those are my experiences with 6.1 while away from the big 'puter. I
hope these email annoyances can be worked out in future upgrades or
patches
or whatever, but in general I'm very pleased with the upgrade.

Peggy
