Hi: - Pardon me, but I'm a tad confused, I phoned Pulse data today, to make
an inquiry on "SMA, & the 6.1 Upgrade (my BN Qt32 is only a year old), and
was told that I had no "SMA" and would have to purchase the 6.1 upgrade
straight out as new software, where I was quoted a price of $399, which is a
whole lot higher price than what's being quoted here. Firstly, since my BN
is just a year old (purchased in feb. 2004), why wasn't I given the option
of a SMA which I probably would have secured at the time, instead of being
pentalized for the salesperson's neglect. for exanple: when typically one
purchases the JAWS software your are given a 2 time upgrade which is built
into the initial price. I also like several others have been postponing the
anticipated upgrade since being a Sendero group GPS user and one who doesn't
want to make my add-on device out-of-date, and quite unuseable, since it's a
quite valuable tool.. - Kim
