Hi Will,

To connect to infrared via Activesync:

1. From the utilities/miscellaneous menu, set your Activesync connection to
use infrared.
2. In ActiveSync, go to file/connection settings and ensure that the
appropriate checkbox for infrared is checked.
3. Now press the "get connected button" and on the BrailleNote a couple of
seconds later, activate the "connect to Activesync option" in the utilities
menu.

You cannot connect to ActiveSync via infrared. To set up a connection with
your mobile phone, use the hayes compatible on infrared option as the
"device to use" in your directory of services entry and enter all of the
required details from your ISP accordingly.
