Thanks, Jonathan! And thank you for clarifying. But rats, i can't try to
pull a fast one on the gullible and claim to see a UFO! Look up in the sky,
it's a bird. it's a plane. it's a frog. no, it's just Jonathan! sigh. I'm
crushed! (in case you don't know, and for the USA folks on here I am so
dating myself by that quote, that was from the old cartoon Under Dog.)
smile.

Thanks again about the media player!

Sherry

Hi Sherry, I listen to a lot of audio books on the BrailleNote while doing
all the flying I have to do. I must emphasise, I do the flying with the
assistance of an aeroplane, so please don't go looking in the night sky for
someone flapping around with a BrailleNote.

Yes you can copy a very large book onto a CF card assuming your card has
the capacity to hold it. And the Media Player will remember your place for
the last MP3 file you played. Happy listening.

Hi,

someone gave me an audio book in MP3 format. I'm sure the file is far too
large to put on the BN itself--it's a darn long book--but I can put it on
my
compact flash card. Can I play such a file on the media player? And if
so,
will the media player resume where I left off in the file, or will it
always
go back to the beginning? Is there something I have to do to make it stop
and start where I left off? This is the first time I've had an audio book
on MP3 that wasn't from audible.com, and I'm not quite sure what to listen
to it on.

Thanks.
Sherry
