Hi again Jim,

Glad to provide the information, just sorry it wasn't what you were asking for.
 <smile>

First, I assume you're trying to connect using a wireless connection. Is that
correct? If so, do you get the connected message?

If you're attempting to use dialup at this point, have you created a new dialup
configuration in your connectivity menu.

Just trying to find out where you are in the process so I won't go spouting off
about a bunch of things which aren't relevant to your situation at this point.

So let me know as to the kind of connection you're trying to establish right
now and just how far you've gotten with that connection.

These things can get a little complicated using email since you can't
immediately ask a question and get an answer so you can know which way to
proceed.

Actually, this probably should be taken to private email or something if it
gets too detailed, but it also might be of help to others trying to get a
connection
going under 6.1.

Hi Don,

Thanks for your good information. Right now, I'm trying to use my BN
independent from anything else to go onto web sites, check Email etc. I
thought this was possible since I can scan for other networks and I
wouldn't have a PC with me. I'm trying to log onto my ISP and get on the
web. Somehow I'm missing something. I get my network okay but when I try
to go into a web site, I get the server can't be found message and or web
site cannot be found. What am I missing or what am I misunderstanding?
