I've heard this said too about the paqmate that it's speech drains more than the braille.

I, too, have a PCMCIA storage card and a CompactFlash card in my BN and the battery does go down rather quickly when you do a lot of reading. After about 2 hours my battery, after being fully charged, goes down to around 77 percent. You probably know this, but speech uses a lot more battery life than Braille does. Hope this helps. I just hope the water has not done any more damage than we thought. I do have a compact flash card and a storage card in the bn though. thanks anyway. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote Hey, check out my journal with audio and written entries at http://joyctilton.livejournal.com mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] AIM: little pixy4f6i Come join the Joy Ride, Mondays and fridays 15:00 to 18:00 UTC, http://interactive.acbradio.org ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote http://www.bbc.co.uk/ - World Wide Wonderland This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
