I'm not sure if my PC has USB 2.0 or not...but what does [cd] mean on the reader? Katie ----- Original Message ----- From: "C. L. Kennedy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

The card is fine. As for the reader, does your computer have USB 2.0? If not, the reader may be a little slow. But it will still work.

Does the CF have to be a specific type...for example, I found the following on Amazon.com...

SanDisk SDCFH-1024-901 1 GB Ultra II CompactFlash Card

Does the CF card have to be a certain type, or just one of those brand names mentioned below?

And, when it comes to buying a CF reader, does that matter either? I also found the following on Amazon.com concerning that...
SanDisk SDDR-88-A15 8-in-1 USB 2.0 Hi-speed Reader [CD]
I just don't want to spend money on something, then discover it's not going to work...

Thanks!!

Katie

i'd like to jump in here a s a new user of these Compact Flash cards. I've had the slot on my BN BT 18 since I paid to upgrade the board since it was going in for repair because of a bad flash disk. I just upgraded to the 6.1 that came on a Compact Flash card in the mail. I used to use a compact flash
card given to me by my Uncle for backing up my BN.

i guess i say all this to say one major question. Is there a certain Compact Flash card that the BN BT is required to use? YOu know the drill. I don't want to break the BN the first time I try to back it up, or read the Bible off
a Compact Flash card.

Can anyone help a confused person?
