Rhonda,

I have a router but do not have the new mother board. I was reading the
manual or user guide and it said something about using a modem through
the
cerial port. That is why I was asking about abn external modem being
used
through the cerial port so that I can do e-mail on the bn. If this is
not
possible how much would it cost me to have my bn updated to the new hard
ware and software? This sounds like this is what I will have to do.

Matthew

If I'm understanding you right, and you want to go outside, you wouldn't
want dial up connections. You'd be wanting a wireless card. You
wouldn't
need to buy an external modem. If you're using cable, I would think you
would need a wireless router. I may be wrong about this. Am I
understanding you correctly?
