Changing the time is a valid use case, but perhaps not appropriate for the zone style of virtualization. The time is kept by the kernel, so you would either have to interpose something (which introduces change which might impact testing) or have another kernel. Why not spin up a new vVM domU with a different date ? You could even detach the branded zone from one domU and attach it to another. That sounds like a much less complicated approach to solving the problem. Bob
