I am somewhat baffled now. If I start the installation and run 'truss -leaf -p XXX' on the rpm process, everything works as expected. If I try to install w/o running truss on the rpm process, the installation hangs. Is it possible that I bumped into a race condition? Thanks, - Ryan -- UNIX Administrator http://prefetch.net
