Crunchy Whole Wheat Bread 

  Prep: 15 min; Bake: About 4 1/2 hr
  Makes 1 1/2 pound Loaf, 12 slices 
   
  1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
  3 tablespoons honey
  2 tablespoons stick margarine or butter, 
  softened 
  1 1/2 cups bread flour
  1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts 
  1 teaspoon salt 
  1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast 
   
  1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in 
  bread machine pan in order recommended by the 
  manufacturer
   
  2. Select Whole Wheat or Basic/White cycle. Use 
  Medium or Light crust color. Remove baked bread 
  from pan and cool on wire rack
   
  *Spreads with at least 65% vegetable oil can be substituted 
   
  1 Slice: Calories 160 (Calories from Fat 35); Fat 4g
  (Saturated 1g); Cholesterol 0mg; Sodium 200mg; 
  Carbohydrate 29g (Dietary Fiber 2g); Protein 4g
