Salt Free White Bread

5 3/4 to 6 3/4 cups of un-sifted flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 package of Active Dry Yeast
1/4 cup of soft unsalted margarine
2 cups of very warm tap water(120ºF. - 130ºF.) 


Mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, and un-dissolved yeast. Add margarine. Add water 
and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1/2 cup of flour. Beat at high 
speed for 2 minutes. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Turn out onto 
floured board, knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Place in 
greased bowl, turn to grease top. Cover, let rise in warm place, until doubled, 
about 1 hour. Punch dough down, turn out onto floured board. Divide in half. 
Shape each into a loaf. Place in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Cover, let 
rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 400ºF. for 35 minutes or until done. 
Makes 2 loaves
