My company has a driver/filter that tags certain port numbers/ip addresses
based on a policy and sends a dataharvest back to the policy server.
This patch/tool is inserted using the frames diverter. The frames diverter I
think just passes the frames back in, slightly modified.

Any clue as if this will still work?

Yes unfortunately, my company adds this to all outgoing emails. 
There is no way of me blocking it without using a different email address.
By emailing the list I am explicitly saying that all who can read the list
(meaning the whole world) is authorized to view this email.
