I just confirmed that the forward chain is the only chain that works for a bridge device. I saw this posted, but could find the message to reply too. I'm running 2.4.18, with the patch. I only tested the mangle table, so that might be another thing. But everything works now and I can set outgoing TOS fields on the bridge, so I'm happy!
