Hello, I've been trying to find a way to get the frames pass through the FORWARD chain when both untagged and tagged vlan bridges co-exist. I ended up with the attached patch. Tagged VLAN frames will go through bridges with slave interfaces having similar VIDs. Otherwise they will still be bridged by the default untagged (master?) bridge without passing through the NF chains. So there will have to be a bridge per VLAN. The patch should be applied after both the ebtables and bridge-nf patches have been applied respectively. (I tested it with ebtables-v2.0.003_vs_2.4.20.diff and bridge-nf-0.0.10-against-2.4.20.diff) I appreciate your feedback.
