Hi,

I'm using the latest version of your jsf bridge in oracle portal 1.4,
running portlets in an oc4j 10.1.3 wsrp container. Oracle appears to return
the string wsrp from the RenderResponse.getNamespace and then substitutes
this for an actual portlet namespace in the portal engine. This means that
the component tree contains components with ids of, say, viewwsrpMyId. When
the jsf form is submitted, then the request parameters have the actual
portlet namespace inserted in the name of the parameter (e.g.
view_ns_443333_333_33_MyId) and myfaces is not, therefore recognising the
fact that there are values to decode for the components.

changing encodeNamespace to just return pNamespace solves the problem from
this point of view. It does not, however, solve the fact that the
components ids will now not be unique for multiple instances of the portlet
on the portal page.

Any suggestions / patches gratefully received.

Regards,

John Grange
