Yes! Serious Sam is the closest I've come to the feeling I used to get from Doom, the feeling that something was about to jump on me at ever instant. And then, when things *are* jumping on you, they're so numerous, relentless, and gratuitous that you're practically jumping out of your chair trying to dodge them. Jedi Outcast is also quite good. (A better Star Wars experience than ep. 2, frankly.) I recommend going to jediknightii.net and downloading the small mods that make your lightsaber sound more like the ones from the old movies.
