More migraine sufferers read David Brin than any other SF author. With me, diet soda by itself will not trigger a migraine. A full pound steak will most likely trigger a migraine 24 hours after eating it. Never earlier. It seems to be the total level of toxicity that's the trigger. In grade school I used to throw up regularly once a month, missing the next day of school. As to heat... Diet Coke is fair, Diet Pepsi a bit worse, but the most foul taste comes from a Diet Barc's Root Beer left all day in the Arizona sun. Never again. William Taylor ----------------------- Drink Gatoraide before rinsing out the tooth paste and you'll get a good idea as to what I mean. _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
