Am I the only person on the planet that didn't love Les Miserables? I took my wife a few years ago, and I found it sort of dull. And mind you, I'm not one of those guys who thinks that plays are for sissies; I love musicals, opera, all that kind of stuff. But the first act is soooooooooooooooooooo long, and they tell Jean Valjean's a half dozen times, and it just didn't grab me. There are some excellent parts, granted, but I've heard nothing but raves, and I simply didn't see what the big deal was.
