Heh, I didn't think of that. When I was a kid, I think I would be upset
that the snow day came on a holiday so I didn't get an extra day off.


Did you not have to make up snow days later on in the school year, on a Saturday or some day which would have otherwise been a holiday? That's how they do it around here, anyway, since by law school must be in session a certain minimum number of days during the year, so any days off due to inclement weather, a flu epidemic, etc., must be made up before the school year is over in May.
