Is it more problematic than any other faith/following? The little that I know about other faiths (?)/ philosophies shows that most of them put some deity/force/ideal at the top of the pyramid - objectivism puts there human life - and not *any* life, but the one of the specific follower. May be this is the thing that is so heinous - looking at somebody who believes that he is the most important thing in the world and being afraid that he is ready to destroy everything for his sake.
