Austin being (depending on your point of view) either the liberal hippie cosmic cowboy oasis of liberalism in Texas or the liberal hippie cosmic cowboy hellhole of iniquity in Texas. :-) And Houston being more big-oil big-hair old-school-cowboy yada yada yada. But once a year we get a big rodeo that brings out the old-school cowboys in town, and South by Soutwest (SXSW) that also brings in a lot of the music-loving cosmic cow-whatever crowd.
